AUTOMATION TESTER (E-G2)


Location: Budapest, I. district ( 3days office)

Salary: competitive

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and introduce automated testing scripts using various technologies to test;
  • Recommend improvements to testing processes and procedures;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies;
  • Analyze, reproduce and track errors reported by the customer or by the users;
  • Retest of the fixes provided by the development team, including regression testing;
  • Manual test of Smartphone applications (Android, iOS), mainly with a special software for dedicated devices when it is needed;
  • Test of internally developed computer tools and web applications;
  • Design, write, maintain test cases and documentation (based on specifications);
  • Perform exploratory testing;
  • Work in a team, collaborating with the other members of the Test Team, Developers and Project Management;
  • Ability to work independently.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in automated testing preferably in mobile testing or 5+ years in general automation testing
  • Experience in manual testing;
  • Proven working experience in Software testing environment;
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to work;
  • Working proficiency in English and Hungarian language is a must
  • Technical skills (for medior tester is a must, for seniortester is advantage):
    • Programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin;
    • Experience in web frontend automation (for example Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid);
    • Relevant experience in using the Page Object Model design pattern;
    • Experience in user interface automation on Android/iOS (for example Appium, Espresso, XCUITest);
    • Clear understanding of the HTTP and the API;
    • Relevant experience in API test automation (for instance REST-assured, Postman).

Preferred skills:

  • Ability to think critically, collect and analyze data, make decisions and solve problems;
  • Willingness to learn and to develop your own skills to improve your performance;
  • Good time-management, interpersonal and communication skills.
