SENIOR FULL-STACK DEVELOPER - JAVA, REACT (GYT)

Location: Budapest, XI. district, hybrid (2 days in office)

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain secure customer registration, login, and self-service password reset flows using CIAM best practices
Implement and troubleshoot industry-standard identity protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0 and JWT
Lead the transition from traditional passwords to modern security standards
Develop and maintain integrations between the CIAM platform (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID) and the application ecosystem (Mobile/Web/Microservices)
Develop, secure, and document REST APIs and SDKs to allow internal development teams to consume identity services safely
Ensure identity data handling aligns with GDPR and Finnish privacy regulations; implement Data Privacy by Design and robust consent management
Create seamless user journeys using "Progressive Profiling" to collect user data without increasing friction during the sign-up process
Enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Fine-Grained Access Control across the platform, managing scopes, claims, and token validation

Requirements:

8+ years of relevant experience
Strong proficiency in Golang, Kotlin and Java (Spring boot), Node.js/TypeScript with the ability to build and debug backend identity logic
Expertise in modern frameworks (React) with a focus on secure state management and token storage
Deep technical understanding of JWT, OAuth2 ,SAML2.0, and OIDC Discovery
Extensive experience with CIAM platforms, like like BankID, Microsoft Entra External ID (or any other)
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) or Directory Services (LDAP/SCIM)
Solid understanding of Web Security (XSS, CSRF, CORS) and the OWASP
Exposure to AI-driven risk signals, bot detection, and adaptive MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying identity microservices
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
